Share live analytics with clients, without screenshots
Every agency and collab runs on the same ritual: screenshot the stats, paste them in a chat, repeat next week. GetMySocial replaces that with a live stats page you share once: password-protected, expiring when you want, always up to date.
Available on paid plans. Your client needs no account, and you can revoke access any time.
What is a shared stats page?
A shared stats page is a public URL that shows the live analytics of one GetMySocial link: pageviews, clicks, countries and sources. You create it from the link statistics screen on any paid plan, and whoever holds the URL reads the numbers without a GetMySocial account.
A screenshot cannot do that. It is dead the moment you take it, so the client asks "and how is it today?" and you are back in the dashboard taking another one. Multiply that by every creator an agency manages and reporting becomes a part-time job.
Screenshots also invite doubt. A cropped image with numbers on it proves nothing, which matters when the person on the other side is deciding whether to keep paying you.
A share fixes both problems at once. The person you send it to opens a URL and sees the current numbers, every time. Because each share is scoped to one link and carries its own access rules, you decide who sees what, for how long, and how much identifying detail comes with it.
What a shared stats page can do
Each share is its own URL with its own rules, and one link can hold up to 10 of them at once.
Always live
The page reads the same live analytics you see in your dashboard, so the numbers keep moving while the client watches them.
Password protection
Add a password when the numbers are for one person only. Wrong-password attempts are rate limited.
Expiry dates
Set a share to expire after a campaign or a contract. You can revive an expired share later if needed.
Anonymous mode
Hide the creator's identity, the destination URL and the short link itself. Use it for case studies and sales decks.
Frozen filters
Lock the page to a date range, a country or an A/B variant, so the viewer sees exactly the slice you agreed to show.
Open tracking
Each share counts its opens and remembers the last one, so you know whether the client actually looked.
Create your first shared stats page
- 1
Open the stats of the link you want to share
From your dashboard, open the link statistics page and hit the Share button in the header.
- 2
Set the rules
Give the share a label, then choose your options: password, expiry date, anonymous mode and any filters you want frozen.
- 3
Send the URL
Copy the generated link and send it to your client or partner. They open it in any browser, no account needed.
- 4
Revoke when it is over
Every share can be revoked or deleted in one click, and revoking one share never touches the others.
Reporting habits that build trust
-
One share per audience
The creator gets one link, the brand another, each with its own label, password and lifespan. Never recycle a share across relationships.
-
Label everything
"Mia, June campaign, brand view" tells future-you exactly what this share exposes and to whom.
-
Freeze the campaign window
Lock the date range to the campaign so the conversation stays about the numbers you both agreed to measure.
-
Use anonymous shares for pitching
Real numbers with the identity stripped make a case study you can show any prospect without burning a client's privacy.
-
Watch the per-link ceiling
Ten shares per link is the cap. Delete the ones from finished campaigns instead of collecting them, and your list stays readable.
-
Revoke at the end of every contract
Access that outlives the relationship is a leak waiting to happen. Make revoking part of your offboarding checklist.
Frequently asked questions
Does my client need an account to see the stats?
No. A shared stats page is a public URL protected by the rules you set. Your client opens it in any browser, enters the password if you set one, and sees the live numbers.
Which plans include shareable stats pages?
Every paid plan. On the free plan the share panel opens but shows an upgrade notice instead of the form, so the feature is one upgrade away rather than hidden.
How many people can I share one link with?
A link can carry up to 10 shares at once, each with its own label, password, expiry, frozen filters and anonymous setting. Delete an old one to free a slot.
What does anonymous mode hide exactly?
The owner's identity, the destination URL and the short link itself. The viewer sees the performance data without being able to tie it to a specific creator or page.
Can I take access away after sharing?
Yes, instantly. Revoke or delete any share from your dashboard and the URL stops working on the next visit. Expired shares can also be revived if the relationship resumes.
Do viewers see my whole account?
No. A share exposes the statistics of one link only, further narrowed by any filters you froze. Nothing else in your account is reachable from it.
